Chin Up, Power
Set up: A sturdy armchair or a solid dining chair you can sit on backwards, placed a couple of metres from a side window for soft raking light.
Wardrobe: A smooth one-piece bodysuit. The chairback does most of the covering; described as a bodysuit, it stays in the partial tier.
Camera: Phone on a tripod at chest height, portrait, square to the chairback. Self-timer or a remote; expose for the lit side of the face.
Pose: Straddle the chair facing its back, fold your forearms along the top, and rest — or float — your chin just above them. Lengthen the back, drop the shoulders, and hold a level, direct gaze. This one asks for balance and a confident stare, so it's a later-in-the-set pose once you're warmed up. Fuller frame: this pose leans athletic; if it fights you, skip it or sit tall side-on to the chair instead and keep the same steady chin-up gaze.
