No — and that's deliberate. The guides, the Look Library, and the shoot planner all work start to finish without you uploading anything. You only ever send us an image if you decide you'd like one finished, and that's an optional extra, not the point of the site.

No. Every look in the library ships in body-type variants, so you're choosing from pictures where someone is actually built like you — not translating from someone who isn't. The posing guides do the same thing: adjustments by body, not a single 'correct' shape.

Everything here is written with women in mind — that's who we built it for, and it shapes the posing, the wardrobe advice and the tone. But nothing is gated and nobody gets asked to justify themselves. If this is useful to you, it's for you.

Your phone is genuinely fine. A window, a room with a door that closes, and a self-timer is the whole kit for most of what's in the guides. We've written a full phone-only walkthrough if you'd like the specifics.

Never. We're not a studio and nobody comes to you — that's rather the point. You shoot at home, on your own terms, at your own pace. The only thing that happens remotely is optional finishing work on photos you choose to send.

They're encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold or shared, and never used to train shared, public, or cross-customer models. Retouching trains no model of you at all; Virtual You trains a private model from your photos alone, used only for your images and deleted with them. Auto-deleted on a 30-day default you control; when you ask for deletion, most data leaves our live systems right away and we confirm completion in writing within 48 hours.

Thirty days by default, and the clock is yours to change — shorten it, extend it while you're deciding, or purge everything on request — most of it goes straight away, and we confirm it's fully done within 48 hours. Deletion removes your source photos, your finished images, and any private model built from them. If you think you'll want more looks later, you can choose to keep your Virtual You model on file instead — that's free, it stays encrypted, you can still delete your source photos, and it's removed automatically after 90 days without a login or whenever you close your account.

A real person — the digital artist working your order — plus a short list of named companies we use to run the service, each contractually bound to act only on our instructions. That list is published in our Privacy Policy rather than left vague, and we update it with notice when it changes.

Honest answer, in two halves. Retouching orders train no model of you whatsoever. Virtual You does train a small private model from your photos and nothing else — that is the service — and it's used only to make your pictures, kept isolated, and deleted when your photos are. What never happens either way: your photos going into a shared, public, or cross-customer model.

We won't pretend there's no AI in the pipeline — every modern photo editor has some in it, and anyone claiming otherwise is being slippery. What we will promise: every paid order is worked by a real digital artist, we only ever process photos of you, and nothing is final until you've seen proofs and approved them.

You take a set of guided photos of yourself — usually ten to fifteen — and we train a private model from them, which lets us put you in looks and settings you couldn't easily shoot at home. Sometimes we'll come back and ask for a few more, or for different angles or lighting, if what we've got won't produce something we'd be happy to send you. You own your likeness. The model itself stays a working tool on our side and is never handed over — a model of your face is a powerful thing to hand out, and we'd rather not put that into the world.

Yes, and we're not sorry about it. Paid services are 18+, and we check a government ID against a selfie through a specialist verification provider. It exists so that the only person whose photos we ever process is you — which is the same protection that makes the rest of this trustworthy.

$7 an image, for everything — a photo you took and want finished, or a Virtual You look built from scratch. Same work, same price. Images come five at a time, so the smallest order is $35, and that's the only minimum there is. Your images never expire, and the whole thing stays fully refundable until you approve each proof. Everything else on the site — guides, the Look Library, the shoot planner — is free and always will be.

Typically two to five business days. If an order is going to run late — high volume, or something unusually complex — we'll tell you within 48 hours rather than leaving you refreshing your inbox. It's a person doing the work, so we'd rather give you a real date than a fast one.

You see low-resolution watermarked proofs first, and your order stays fully refundable until you approve them — no deduction, no questions asked. You only get the full-resolution files once you're happy.

Only if you explicitly opt in, and you can withdraw that later. The default is no. Nothing of yours appears anywhere as an example, a before-and-after, or a sample unless you've actively said yes.
