Milk & Petals
Set up: A bath run warm and turned opaque white — a few cups of milk or a scoop of bath powder clouds it completely — with a scatter of petals on top and a cluster of tea-lights nearby for warm, soft light. The water must read fully opaque, so add enough to cloud it and check the surface before you shoot.
Wardrobe: None needed — the opaque water is the covering; the submerged body is fully hidden and only the shoulders and one arm on the rim are bare.
Camera: Phone on a tripod at rim height, landscape (4:3), framed along the tub. Self-timer or a remote; expose for the candle-lit shoulders and keep the phone well back from the water.
Pose: Sink in so the milky water rises to your collarbone, tip your head back onto the rim, rest one arm along the edge, and let your eyes close. Confirm the water is fully cloudy first — that opacity is what does all the covering. Face softened away and everything below the surface hidden, this is a calm, painterly, low-exposure frame.
