Backlit Hair-Gather

Set up: Stand in profile between the camera and a bright window; the brighter the light behind you, the cleaner the silhouette. Any window with strong daylight works — no gear needed.

Wardrobe: High-waisted lace sleep shorts. Backlit to a silhouette and with the arms raised, the shape reads and the shorts anchor the frame; low surface detail keeps it soft and gentle.

Camera: Phone on a tripod at chest height, portrait, side-on to the window. Self-timer or a remote; tap to expose for the bright window so your body drops to a rimmed silhouette. Let it go a little dark — that's the shape you want.

Pose: Stand side-on, lift both arms to gather your hair off the neck, and tip the chin toward the light so the neck lengthens. The backlight does the whole thing — your detail dissolves into shape, so it's a confident-looking frame that's genuinely low-exposure and easy. Face softened to shadow makes it gentle for a shy day.
