Laced & Standing

Set up: A clean bare wall in bright, even daylight — an open shaded window with no harsh direct sun gives that flat, crisp pin-up light.

Wardrobe: A structured corset bodice laced firm at the back, high-waisted retro shorts, and long satin gloves (optional but the pin-up finish). The corset is the hero — it draws the waist in and lifts the bust for you.

Camera: Phone on a tripod at waist height, portrait, back far enough to hold the figure to mid-thigh. Self-timer or a remote; expose evenly so the lacing and the palette stay crisp.

Pose: Weight into the back hip, one gloved hand at the cinched waist tracing the boning, chin up with a knowing look. Fuller frame: this is a genuine plus-size hero — let the laced waist carry the hourglass, turn the front hip slightly away from the lens, and keep the chin lifted; the corset and the high waistband do the shaping so you can simply stand tall and enjoy it.
