Crossed at the Ankle
Set up: Sit back on a couch with your lower legs extended over the front edge; soft daylight from a side window skims the leg line.
Wardrobe: Sheer stockings and a pair of heels dangling from the toes. Only the lower legs are in frame — an easy, low-anxiety partial detail.
Camera: Phone on a tripod low, at couch-edge height, landscape (4:3), framed on the lower legs from about the knee down. Self-timer or a remote; expose for the stockings so the sheen and line read. Angle the feet across the frame rather than pointed at the lens so the legs don't foreshorten.
Pose: Extend the lower legs over the couch edge, cross them softly at the ankle, point the toes gently, and let one heel dangle. That's the whole shot — no face, no eye contact, nothing to hold. It's one of the easiest, most relaxed frames to include, and a lovely way to break up a set.
