Prone Bare-Back

Set up: Bed beside a window, rumpled white sheets; soft directional daylight from one side.

Wardrobe: A soft white sheet draped from the waist down over the hips and legs. Lying on your front does the rest of the covering.

Camera: Phone on a tripod at mattress height, landscape (4:3), framed across the length of the back so the pose fills the frame.

Pose: Lie on your front, sheet drawn up to the small of the back. Prop on your folded forearms, lengthen the spine, rest your head on your arms and turn it to the lens with a soft smile; cross one lifted foot behind for life. Fuller frame: the prone line elongates the back beautifully — keep the shoulders drawn down and the chin gently forward.
