Out the Window

Set up: Stand beside a window in profile to the camera; soft daylight — overcast or sheer-softened — keeps the skin gentle and the mood quiet.

Wardrobe: A sashed robe, closed and soft. Fully covered; the whole look is mood, not reveal.

Camera: Phone on a tripod at chest height, a step to the side so you read in profile, portrait. Self-timer or a remote; expose for the lit side of the face.

Pose: Turn your profile to the lens, weight on the back leg, one hand resting on the window frame, and gaze out through the glass. Lift and turn the chin to lengthen the neck, and let your face settle into a real thought — because you're looking away, there's no eye contact to hold, which makes this one of the calmest frames for a nervous day.
